We went on for Mediterranean cruise trip on the middle part of last year. The cruise line was Celebrity Cruises and the cruise ship was Galaxy. The destinations of the Mediterranean cruise trip were Turkey, Greece and Italy in the Mediterranean. The overall experience that Galaxy offered was up to the expectations.
The service of the cruise was excellent right from the word go. As soon as we boarded on the ship, we were shown our room. We were asked whether we would like to avail spa facilities and we agreed. The spa was excellent and the other facilities such as sauna, gym, thelossotherapy pool were all top notch. We got a pass to have unlimited access to the T-pool. The first day with massages and spa was very calming and restful. As soon as our massaging session got over, we got back towards our room and found that our luggage was waiting. Soon after that, dinner arrived and it was lovely. The service of the staffs in the cruise was excellent and they were very friendly also.
We tried to alter our dining from main seating to sunset, but that was not actually possible as many others were also in the line to do the same. But, the company that we got on our dining table was very good and friendly. We spend excellent time while chatting with the table mates and the wrong placement of the table was not bothering us anymore. The waiter and his assistant were also very jovial. Even the wine service was remarkable. Whatever, we ordered, the waiter served us efficiently. There was not a single occasion, where I felt rushed with their service.
After the dinner, I went on to get an AquaSpa massage. It was amazing and it made my trip. It is definitely the best massage that I have received till date. I have problems of insomnia so I was really worried about how I would complete my Mediterranean cruise trip. But, right after the first massage, I was sure that I do not need to worry about the rest of the trip days on the cruise. The cruise also featured a big gym. We used to work out there quite entertainingly. The T-pool was good enough for our muscle relaxation and the sauna session right after T-pool was immaculate.
Our Mediterranean cruise trip took us through numerous tourist destinations on the northern coast of the sea. We got off on several ports and enjoyed the vistas, local culture and the food. We just loved every bit of cruising and exploring Mediterranean.
